Kimberly D. Wise, MPH, MA

Principal/Founder

WHC founder, Kimberly Wise, has nearly 20 years of award-winning health and wellness communications experience working on behalf of some of the world’s most recognizable brands. A veteran of several global PR agencies, her belief that we all make healthcare decisions each day drives her approach to client service, planning and execution. Her experience stretches from New York City to Washington, D.C. down to Dallas, and across all healthcare disciplines including pharmaceutical, not-for-profit, government, consumer health and coalitions.

 

Some of her most recognizable clients and employers include Coca-Cola, Nestlé Infant Nutrition, Procter & Gamble, the Merck Childhood Asthma Network, STOP Obesity Alliance, National Cancer Institute, Mondelēz International, the American Heart Association, National Breast Cancer Coalition, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Eli Lilly, Takeda Pharmaceuticals, the American Gastroenterological Association and Mattress Firm (yes, they have a health story to tell, too).

 

She earned her Masters of Public Health from The George Washington University, Master of Arts in Healthcare Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University (SMU) and dual undergraduate degrees in Corporate Communications and Psychology also from SMU. She lives in the Dallas area with her husband, daughter and puppies, and volunteers on behalf of abused and neglected children. 

 

Kay Twomey

Partner/Vice President

Kay brings experience, passion and commitment, honed over a decade of

award-winning work in communications and healthcare with large

nonprofits and foundations where she led communications, public

education and development initiatives.

 

She has worked with visionaries and emerging influencers across fields, from science to entertainment, to raise awareness about issues such as colorectal cancer, viral hepatitis, healthcare disparities and sex-based differences in medicine. She is imaginative and driven to serve our clients by helping them create strategies that are aligned with their missions to maximize resources, meet measurable objectives and help them do the work they do better.

 

Kay is based in Washington, D.C. and is a dynamic voice in her community, where her talent and enthusiasm are deployed in full force whether she’s organizing events, participating in civic associations, tutoring in schools in DC’s most underserved wards, volunteering in homeless shelters, or welcoming Georgetown University students  for dinner and conversation in her home.

 

She has a dual degree in Communications and History from the University of Miami.
